OSPF (Open Shortest Path First)
True Link Sate open standard routing protocol, Known as shortest path first routing protocol,  works by using DIJKSTRA algorithm. OSPF uses bandwidth as a default metric to determine the best path to remote network. First a best path tree is constructed and then routing table is populated with resulting best path. It supports classless routing with unlimited hop count. It AS is 110, uses multicast address 224.0.0., it is not multi-routed protocol. It converges very quickly and loop free protocol. It can support load balancing up to 6 equal cast path and does not summarize route by default like EIGRP, IGRP and RIP, it use IP port number 89.
Area:- A logical set of network segments and their attached devices. Areas is 32-bit value usually are connected to other areas via routers, making up a single autonomous system, 50 routers can be in single area.

eigrp


1.     EIGRP is hybrid Cisco proprietary, 
2.     advanced version of IGRP routing protocol,
3.      Work by using bellmen ford algorithm.
4.     It has feature of both distance vector and link state.
5.     It sends traditional distance vector update.
6.     Containing information about network and cost of reaching them from the perspective of the advertising router.
7.      It synchronizes its routing table between the neighbor at startup and only when topology changes occur.
8.     Eigrp uses bandwidth and delay as a default metric to find the best path to remote network,
9.     EIGRP support classless routing,
10.  by default hop count is 100, can be 255,
11. EIGRP internal administrative distance is 90 and external administrative distance is 170
12. And use multicast address 244.0.0.10.
13. it supports auto network  summarization like IGRP a and Rip,
14. EIGRP use IP port  number 88,
15. Support load balancing up to 6 equal cost path, default 4.
16. EIGRP is multi-routed protocol and maintain separate routing table for each routed protocol with the help of PIM,
17. eigrp uses RTP as transporter and DUAL to calculate the best path.
18. It converges very quickly and loop free protocol because updates are   non-periodic, partial, and bounded.
